SARCASTIC WITCH HOUSE

Using a wood house, I created this fun, light up witch house. 

I stained it in black wood stain, then distressed it. black ground on the house peaks

A gold witch portrait that I aged, on the top

Cheesecloth for smoke and inside the house

Snarky verses glued inside the back wall. I attached fairy lights to the inside roof

Witch Agnes + Witch Minerva overlooks the house. always with a snarky quote

I printed the images on lightweight copy paper, then mod podged them onto the clean bottle

Silk sari ribbon in black and fall colors are tied around the neck of the bottle. 

I also attached a spooky, black tree branch and a glittery copper tree branch

Clear fairy lights inside with a faceted acrylic jewel on the top that was colored black with alcohol ink

WITCH CAT ALTERED PAINT BRUSH

Spooky Cat perched on an altered paint brush

I painted the brush handle and brush hairs black, then went over them with blue wax 

A blue resin pumpkin and coordinating resin pumpkin leaves are the base for the Witch Cat

October

My fav month! Not only is it my birthday month but its also my favorite holiday

Halloween! 

I have created 4 projects this month, all in a Halloween theme

SPOOKY GHOST COFFINS

2 wood coffins

Solid papers as the coffin lining

I edged the edges inside the coffin with distressed cheesecloth

The orange coffin has a 3d foam sticker + bat

I also added tiny stars

The ghost in the other coffin has a wobbler in it, so he shakes

Miniature pumpkins and moss on the top of the coffins

AUTUMN PUMPKIN

I put 3 canvas ovals together to form a pumpkin shape

Painted black, then added autumn papers 

The words Lovely Autumn added in the center

Copper wire coiled for the stem

Silk fall leaves + a wire edged ribbon make up the bow.

POTION BOTTLE

A wooden bottle shape that is the base for my Witch Potion Bottle

Painted black, added white wax paste accents, then added  images from the Photoplay Trick or Treat Collection. I LOVE this collection, So Fun!

 ALL THINGS DARK AND BEAUTIFUL

DREADFULLY WICKED ALTERED CANVAS

I created this using  a 10" x 20" canvas. The background has been aged and crackled.

Resin filigree pieces peek out from under the main image + a black candelabra on the bottom.  

The haunting image is from a free sheet offered in the newsletter.

A dark witch from the forest 

I enlarged the image to fit on a oval canvas

Her hat brim is 3d

Paper Florals in pink and glitter, along with coils were added around the canvas.

POISON BOTTLE

I created a gnarly looking poison bottle using a wood bottle using distress pastes + waxes

A metal POISON label on the top tied with raffia

The 4 resin bottles on the bottom are clipped to hold the dynamic scene from the library.
